Original Construction:

	Tennessee Log Homes Independent Dealer:  Duane Brooks
	Original Contractor:  Daniel Cole, Cole's Construction, working with his father, Roy
	Construction was supposed to start in December 2002, but actually started in January 2003 - bad weather slowed us up a bit

	The foundation, basement walls, septic system, and well are done
	Finally, the North Carolina mountain weather has allowed us to start the subfloor!
	The weather was extremely wet and windy in North Carolina, so progress was slow through April 2003
	Even with record rainfall, we made a little progress in May 2003
	June 2003 was a better month, even with a lot more rain
	By July 4th, the house was completely "dried in" and the backfill around the foundation is complete

	October 2003 construction started well.  The month ended with Daniel's wife, Teresa, getting the heart transplant she had been waiting for for many months.  We wish her well.
	November 2003 construction is moving along very slowly.
	December 2003 and more progress made... completion by mid-January??? (NOT!)

	Work done through 11 February 2004.  The well was drilled in a different location after vandals dumped debris in the original well, causing the state to condemn the well.
	More snow and rain in February, but the finish is still creeping closer (we hope!)
	19 February 2004.  Also, pictures of the wolf
	Guess what!  On February 20th, the cabin is complete except for a couple of items required by the Rutherford County Building Inspector.  Final inspection on Monday, 23 February.
	Finally, on March 3, 2004, we were able to move in our first furniture, and we spent our first night in Riverbend at Lake Lure.  (We're In!!!)
